Name Change Announcement
Hello everyone. We have some exciting news. The Ogden Legion Pipe Band will be changing our name this season to better reflect our focus on youth piping. We are proud to announce that our band will now be known as the Foothills Caledonia Youth Pipe Band!
We will be updating our branding and website over the coming weeks to reflect this change. You may already notice that the new name or FCYPB acronym are used in our updated registration documents.
Please join us as we set out on this exciting new chapter in our band’s history.
2019 -2020 Season Registration Now Open
Registration for the coming year is now open to everyone. Please visit our registration page to download the registration forms. Our in person registration night will be October 1st at 7:00pm at the McDougall United Church, 8516 Athabasca Street S.E. Calgary, AB
We’ve had a busy few weeks
We played at the Spin for a Veteran event at CP and brought our bubble brigade for some additional entertainment.
We played at the Carstairs Heritage Festival and some of us marched in our first parade. We took the opportunity to have our year end party too and gave out some awards.
This weekend we will be competing at The Red Deer and Edmonton Scottish Society Highland Gathering – the first time some of us will have competed at an outdoor games and we all know how different that is from indoors!
